LEBANON, Pa. (Feb. 6, 2013) – We saw them being cut and processed on flower farms near Bogota, Colombia, and then we followed them through customs in Miami.

Now the half-million roses and carnations are heading north on the freeway of love, ready to deliver Valentine’s Day to central and eastern Pennsylvania.

The biggest shipment of flowers will arrive Friday at Royer’s headquarters at 810 S. 12th St., Lebanon. Meanwhile, Royer’s central design area will handcraft thousands of arrangements on Friday and Saturday and box roses by the dozen on Monday and Tuesday.

Members of the news media are encouraged to capture this activity. To arrange a visit to Royer’s headquarters (or a Royer’s store), please contact Neal Goulet at 717-350-1568.

Lebanon-based Royer’s (www.royers.com) operates 16 Royer’s stores in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. Sister company Stephenson’s Flowers & Gifts has one Harrisburg store.
