RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 21, 2014) – Drayer Physical Therapy Institute’s Raleigh outpatient center has been honored with a Partner in MS Care award from the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The award presentation took place Feb. 10 at Drayer’s center, 1520 Sunday Drive, Suite 105.

The award recognizes the important relationship between health care professionals and the MS Society.

Drayer is the first rehabilitation designation in North Carolina and South Carolina. The Raleigh center is adjacent to Raleigh Neurology Associates, with which it collaborates to provide comprehensive care for individuals living with MS.

Drayer physical therapists Erica Gaskins and Elizabeth Waddell have received specialized training in MS.

Jeff Furst, president of the Greater Carolinas Chapter, said: “We are so proud to partner with Drayer Physical Therapy Institute in ensuring high-quality care for the people who live with MS in the Triangle area, and to recognize Drayer’s commitment to providing exceptional rehabilitation services for people living with MS.”

Tom Davis, Drayer’s North Carolina area manager, noted that the Partner in MS Care recognition “highlights our specialization in care and supports Drayer’s mission to provide the very best care humanly possible. This is great news for our Raleigh center and means so very much to Drayer Physical Therapy.”
