Drayer Physical Therapy Institute opens Alabaster, Ala., outpatient center

HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. (Nov. 7, 2016) – Drayer Physical Therapy Institute today opened in Alabaster, Ala., giving it three outpatient centers in Shelby County.

The new center, at 831 1st St. North, Suite B, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It can be reached at 205-358-9138.

The center specializes in orthopedics, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, TMJ rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and work and industry services.

Physical therapist Paige Trammell is the center manager. Donnie Smith is the center’s regional vice president.

Drayer also has centers in Chelsea and Calera in Shelby County and provides athletic training services to Shelby County Schools.

Overall, Hummelstown, Pa.-based Drayer (drayerpt.com) owns or manages 146 centers in 15 states, including 25 in Alabama.

Drayer provides rehabilitation services with a physician’s referral, offering 24-hour access to care.
