HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. (Jan. 5, 2015) – Drayer Physical Therapy Institute has expanded to Oklahoma in a partnership with Peak Rehabilitation’s outpatient center in Skiatook. This does not include Peak’s home health practice in Bartlesville.

While the Drayer name will be visible at the center, 1355 W. Rogers Blvd., Peak founder Merlin Johnson and his staff will remain. Johnson, a physical therapist, founded what was then called Skiatook Physical Therapy in 2000.

The Skiatook center is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be reached at 918-396-7125. Its specialties are post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, work injuries, stroke rehabilitation, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, and an emphasis on spine rehabilitation.

“Merlin has built a well-respected business that is a good fit for Drayer culturally and geographically,” said Kris Bouslough, a Drayer regional vice president who previously lived in Bartlesville for six years.

With the addition of Skiatook as its westernmost location, Hummelstown, Pa.-based Drayer owns or manages more than 100 centers in 15 states.

Drayer (www.drayerpt.com) provides rehabilitation services with a physician’s referral, offering 24-hour access to care.
