‘Bouquets for Books’ collects 1,620 new children’s books for public libraries

LEBANON, Pa. (Nov. 19, 2015) – A decade is in the books.

This year’s “Bouquets for Books” book drive collected 1,620 new children’s titles for public libraries in central Pennsylvania and central Ohio.

Sister companies Royer’s Flowers & Gifts, Stephenson’s Flowers & Gifts and Connells Maple Lee Flowers & Gifts held the book drive Oct. 31-Nov. 7.

In its 10 years, Bouquets for Books has collected more than 16,000 books for the libraries.

Based in Lebanon, Royer’s (www.royers.com) has 15 stores in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties in Pennsylvania.

Stephenson’s (www.stephensonsflowers.com) has one store in Harrisburg, Pa.

Connells Maple Lee (www.cmlflowers.com) has three Ohio stores, in Bexley, Grove City and Powell.
